National Ice Hockey League Division 1 (South)

2019/20 season officially cancelled

18th March 2020    News

Following confirmation the season has been cancelled by the league due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Oxford City Stars extends a huge thank you to everyone for your support this season.

It has been another season full of highs and lows – and while there were on-ice challenges at times – we have stuck together as a club and made great progress in many areas. We thank everyone who has made it possible for another season: coaches, players, volunteers, supporters, sponsors and partners.

We could not run your club without each other. Everyone plays a part and we are proud to be a true community club.

We are all living in unprecedented times and right now welfare, health and safety are the biggest priority for everyone and we look forward to a brighter future for us all.

Your Stars are proud to be part of this wonderful community in Oxfordshire. Please be safe over the coming months and look after each other.

We are due to work through tickets and the like, and have lots to organise, so please bear with us and follow us on social media for key updates.
