The 28 came through the Stars’ junior programme and first appeared in the U16’s in 2003 before breaking into the first team in 2008.

He joined Slough Jets in 2015 and then moved onto Milton Keynes Thunder last season.

Adam said he is looking forward to “returning home”.

He said: “Oxford is my home town and I’m delighted to return to the Stars.

“The club is like family and after speaking to Kenny I had no hesitation in signing.

“I am looking forward to pulling the Stars jersey on again and getting out on the ice with the boys in front of the fantastic Oxford crowd at Oxpens.”

Head Coach Kenny Redmond said: “Adam grew up developing through the Oxford junior clubs and has spent most of his career at Oxford.

“He is well respected by fellow players and coaches, is a good skater and can play in various positions. We’re pleased to have him back at Oxford and we’re looking forward to working with him.”
