Another Satisfied School

9th October 2018    News

On Sunday 30th September, children, parents and teachers from William Fletcher Primary School in Yarnton came to Oxpens Road as part of the Stars Community engagement programme.

They came in full voice for the eagerly awaited local derby against Swindon Wildcats, and they weren’t to be disappointed as the Stars emerged 14-2 winners.

Caeron Phillips from William Fletcher said “The families that went really enjoyed the experience and spoke of the excitement and speed of the game. We are definitely interested in working with the club more in future”.

James Clarke, Club Ambassador, added “Every time we work with a new school I’m blown away by the engagement and excitement we get from the children, it makes my role with the club so worthwhile. I can’t wait to work with Caeron and the team more in future, and continue to expand our work into more schools across Oxfordshire”.
