Dax who scored 12 goals last season said he “cannot wait to get back in the ice” as he looked ahead to the new season in division one south.

The 29-year-old said: “I’m really proud to be asked back to my home team and I feel that pride every time I pull the jersey on.

“I’m really looking forward to playing in the EIHL 1 this season and can’t wait to get on the ice with the boys and get back to work.”

Head Coach Simon Anderson said: “Dax is a great guy and a leader of men and he is going to be huge for us.

“Dax brings us a strong presence in the face-off circle and plays a solid defensive game.

“He always plays bigger than his small stature and is never afraid to stick up for his teammates when needed. I’m really excited to get to coach him again.”
