Hometown player Josh Florey proud to re-sign for the Oxford City Stars

Oxford City Stars have bolstered its defence for the 2019/20 campaign by re-signing Josh Florey.

The 27-year-old who has been a mainstay of the Stars’ squad and a consistent performer spoke of his pride in representing his hometown club.

Head Coach Simon Anderson described Josh as “a tremendous leader”.

Josh said: “I’m excited to be signing for the stars again and proud to play for my hometown club.

“We have a new board, coach & a new vision – all changes which I think will make the club even better. I’m really looking forward to getting going now.”

“Josh is a total team guy, who gives his heart and soul to the cause. He is a tremendous leader in the room and his versatility on the ice is something we really need.

“I’m excited to see how much Josh has developed over the past few seasons.”
