Huge Ice Hockey Stadium Complex Coming To Oxford!
Oxford City Stars are excited to announce that plans for a new sports arena have been approved by the Oxford Department of Planning. The ‘Hockey Stadium Super Centre Mega Complex’ will be located in the University parks in the city centre, and will seat a whopping 200,000 supporters for ice hockey games. It will feature special new technology such as a retractable rink that can be wheeled in and out enabling the arena to be used for other events such as tractor racing and Kabaddi, and Meltless-Ice™ so that the rink surface remains in-tact during the warm summer months meaning the Stars can play games all year round.
Oxford City Stars planning consultant Avril Phoulé said, “It’s our vision to be able to build a stadium to accommodate every single person within the City that can cater for every single sport on the planet”.
A City representative said: “What a load of rubbish, I’ve never heard such nonsense in all my life”.
