Infectious Florey re-signs for the Stars

Defenceman Jake Florey has committed to the Oxford City Stars for the new season.

Head Coach Simon Anderson described the 24-year-old as “an infectious character” after securing the local player for another year.

Jake said: “I am looking forward to another season in Oxford, playing in your hometown is always a pleasure and the fans are great.” 

Simon said: “It was a no brainer signing Jake. He is an infectious character; he is always happy and has a positive effect on the room.

“He was probably my most improved player when I was in Oxford the last time and I will be challenging Jake to bring those levels of play again.”
