Miller signs for the Stars

Netminder Ross Miller has signed on a permanent deal with Oxford City Stars.
Miller, 24, was drafted in as cover early in the season after Milan Ronai suffered a groin injury. But Miller who was without a club, has been outstanding between the pipes and has claimed a regular place.
Miller who came through the junior set up at Cardiff Devils and played for Bristol Pitbulls last season.
Head Coach Simon Anderson said: “Ross has been in excellent form for us and has put in several man of the match performances.
“His attitude has also been first class. He was only drafted in as injury cover, but after playing so well he has earned his place in the team.”
Miller said: “I’m really enjoying playing for the Stars. It’s a great club, the boys and the fans are fantastic and I’m in good form. I didn’t hesitate in signing a permanent contract and I am delighted to have the opportunity to play for Oxford.”
Miller’s home and away shirt is available now for sponsorship via our Own and Loan scheme.
