New Oxford City Stars Jerseys a Hit

11th September 2019    News

Oxford City Stars new kit is proving to be popular – among players and supporters alike.

The new strip was unveiled at the weekend in the Stars’ challenge games and the designs have gone down a storm.

Following a fans’ vote the home jersey returned to yellow and blue and the away kit is the reverse.

The design is clean and traditional, with the Stars’ badge at the heart of the front of the jerseys.

Several supporters have placed orders to purchase the jersey and it has also been very well received by the players.

New captain Josh Florey said: “I’m buzzing to be back in yellow and blue this season.

“It adds certain atmosphere to the rink on game nights, which is going to be pivotal to our success at home this season.

“This is probably my favourite Stars’ kit to date.”

Dax Hedges said: “I’m glad to be back in yellow and blue this season.

“It gives us back our identity and unites our amazing city.

“From the blue of the universities to the yellow of Oxford United and the City Stars. Viva La Oxford.”

Mark Duffy said: “It’s awesome to see the stands full of yellow, home or away the Yellow Army stand out.

“It gives us an extra boost on the ice when our support is behind us. It’s one of the best jerseys I’ve ever worn.”

The club can confirm the kit design and colours will be here to stay for at least next season.
