NIHL2 play-off fixtures confirmed

Following completion of the NIHL2 regular season last weekend, the play-off fixtures are now set!

The first round of action (the quarter-finals) takes place this coming weekend with the following four ties in a 2-legged home/away format:

(1) Oxford City Stars vs (8) Bristol Pitbulls
(2) Solent Devils vs (7) Slough Jets
(3) Bracknell Hornets vs (6) Guildford Phoenix
(4) Chelmsford Chieftains vs (5) Peterborough Phantoms

For the Stars, this means the following:

First leg: Bristol Pitbulls vs Oxford City Stars, Saturday 14th April, Oxpens Road, face-off TBC.
(Note that this is the away leg, so Stars season tickets aren’t valid, and all ticket sales are via Bristol Pitbulls.)

Second leg: Oxford City Stars vs Bristol Pitbulls, Sunday 15th April, Oxpens Road, face-off 18:15.

The 4 quarter-final winners will progress to Finals Weekend in Bracknell on 21/22nd April, the format of which will be 2 semi-finals on the Saturday and the Grand Final on the Sunday.

Saturday 21st April
15:45: The winners of the Stars vs Bristol game will play the winners of the Chelmsford vs Peterborough game.
18:45: The winners of the Solent vs Slough game will play the winners of the Bracknell vs Guildford game.

Sunday 22nd April
17:45: The winning semi-finalists will meet in the Grand Final.

The winners of the Grand Final will be awarded promotion to NIHL1 South.
