Julie, who was Oxford’s Head Sports Therapist last season, joins the historic Midlands Football Club as Sports Therapist for the Aston Villa Ladies team, playing in the Women’s Super League Division 2.

Julie will still be involved with Oxford City Stars next season, assisting in the recovery and injury management team.

Lacroix said “This is a very exciting opportunity for me to learn and work at top level sport in a multi-professional team. I am really looking forward to the experience and will definitely make most of it”.

Director James Schall added “This is a great appointment for Aston Villa and also shows the quality of people we’re working with at Oxford City Stars. Julie has become an integral part of our squad and I’m sure she will have as big an impact at Aston Villa as she’s had here in Oxford”.
