PREVIEW: Stars take on Huskies & Phoenix

2 games for the table topping Stars this weekend in the NIHL2 South (Wilkinson), away to Haringey Huskies on Saturday night, and then back to Oxpens Road to face Guildford Phoenix on Sunday night.

Both Haringey and Guildford have had good starts to the season, both sitting comfortably in the top half of the table:

The Stars however are in great form, sitting pretty at the top of the Wilkinson Division having won 5 on the bounce, including last weekend’s epic win away at previously undefeated Peterborough Phantoms, and head coach Kenny Redmond will be looking to cement top spot with a 4 point weekend.

Golden Programme – At every Stars home game this season, one matchday programme will be signed by a Stars player. The lucky person that buys the Golden Programme gets a free pizza courtesy of Domino’s, delivered to your seat during the second interval. So check your programme for the golden signature, and listen out at the end of the first period and we will invite the person with the Golden Programme to go to the Supporters Table to order their winning prize.

Jersey off of a players back – Do you want to win a jersey straight off of a players back? Well this season you could be in with a chance as each game 1 Stars player will be stripping off his jersey just for you. To be in with a chance of winning, you need to purchase tickets from the Stars ticket sellers at a £1 per strip. If your ticket is chosen come down ice-side at the end of the game to be presented your jersey.

This week’s jersey belongs to club captain #7 Josh Oliver.

 

Parking

Those driving to Oxpens Road for the game can benefit from reduced parking prices all round, with both Oxpens and Westgate car parks offering parking all night from 5pm for just £3.50. No special codes are required, this is now standard pricing.
