Skaife steps down

17th June 2015    News

James Skaife won’t be joining Oxford City Stars this season as the popular netminder has accepted a job opportunity that will take him away from the Oxford area. He’ll be missed between the pipes for the Stars having scooped four titles at the Stars’ end of season awards.

Head coach Simon Anderson was full of praise for the goalie: “Skaifey obviously played a massive part of our survival last season and is a huge hole to fill in our team, but we wish him every success in his new job.  I’m sure we’ll see him back in a Stars shirt again in the future.”

Stars supporters need not be despondent though – the club has exciting netminder news to announce in the next 24 hours! Stay tuned to the website and social media to hear the news first!
