Stars humbled by Streatham

22nd September 2019    News

The Stars suffered their first league defeat of the season to high-flying Streatham.

The visitors produced 3 goals in the first period including a short-handed goal from Carr. The home side were limited to only a few chances.

Warman produced a fourth for Streatham shortly after the start of the second. Oxford responded with a power play goal from Jake Florey.

Unfortunately the goal proved only to be a consolation to the Stars as the clinical Streatham team hit 4 more in the final period of the game.
