Stars sign Cesky
Oxford City Stars are pleased to announce the signing of Jaroslav Cesky.
The Czech forward joins from Wightlink Raiders and is eligible to ice this weekend in the home game vs Solent Devils.
Cesky is well known around the British game having played in the U.K. Since 2009. Most recently time spent with the Raiders has Produced over 50 goals.
Jaroslav is the third signing from Wightlink who tragically had to disband due to the loss of their home rink at Ryde.
Head Coach Simon Anderson said “I’m delighted to capture someone of Jaro’s experience for our young group. He is a consumate professional and speaking to him and speaking to guys that have played with him he is a real team first guy, which is what makes us the team we are. I believe that Jaro will make us stronger and look forward to seeing him in a Stars jersey.”
